Warm candlelight glows against the predawn darkness, illuminating a scaffold platform where a geothermal power plant vent releases thick steam. The metallic haze lingers above the floor, catching the flickering light in a suspended cloud. Early winter cold is evident in the heavy frost coating the steel railing and the breathless stillness of the air. A worker in thick insulated gear stands near the vent, their silhouette defined by the harsh, localized glow. The Dutch angle tilt of the view emphasizes the verticality of the steam rising against the dark valley backdrop. Frost crystals rest on the metal joints, and the steam swirls in chaotic, dense plumes that obscure the distant landscape. at the edge is one drop of condensation sliding down a rusted pipe.
