Beside the steaming metal griddle, a small pile of vibrant dragon fruit sits next to a chipped enamel tray, its surface marked by dried drips of syrup and flour. The baker’s hands move with practiced speed, flipping the flatbread while steam rises into the sunbeams that cut through the open doorway.
