Translucent ice crystals bloom into a feathery frost flower atop a thin sheet of sea ice, resting on a smooth wooden cafe table. Bright midmorning light floods the room through a large window, casting soft reflections across the polished surface. The endless summer daylight of Stockholm illuminates the translucent, feathery structure of the ice, revealing intricate geometric patterns against the pale wood grain. Nearby walls bounce broad skylight, creating a gentle glow that highlights the sharp edges of the frozen bloom. A faint shadow stretches across the table edge, at the base of the impossible subject in the warm, minimalist interior of a Djurgarden cafe.
