Forged Shears Resting on Wool Bale at Twilight

Cool indigo light washes over a pair of hand-forged shears resting atop a tightly bound bale of raw wool. Raindrops bead on the darkened metal blades and slick the rough, fibrous surface of the bale. Beside the wool, a wooden post frames the view of the tidal inlet, where dark water meets the shore under a drizzling sky. The shears show signs of use with a matte, oxidized finish that absorbs the blue hour glow. Behind the frame, the inlet stretches into the distance, its surface rippled by the light rain. one drop of water rests on the lower curve of the left shear blade, catching the faint ambient light before sliding down the metal.
