A weathered aluminum folding chair sits abandoned on the wet concrete sidewalk outside a closed food truck, its black cushion stained with morning dew. Dried drips of red sauce and white cream coat the truck’s rear service window, catching the pale, cool light of early morning. One yellow laundry pin rests on the truck’s rear bumper, fluttering slightly in the breeze. The scene is quiet, with no people visible, only the lingering evidence of last night’s service. The wet pavement reflects the truck’s neon sign, casting a soft blue glow on the chair’s legs. A discarded paper cup lies near the wheel, its contents long gone.
