Fluorescent Display of Grooming Bows in Kigoma Pet Store

Stark fluorescent tubes cast a cool, flat glow over rows of grooming bows arranged on a plastic tray. The display card rests against a white cardboard backing inside a pet store aisle near Kigoma. Dust particles hang visibly in the shafts of light entering through the glass storefront door, suspended in the still midnight air. The ribbons show subtle sheen under the harsh overhead illumination, against the matte texture of the plastic tray. Shadows fall sharply across the floor, extending away from the display toward the back of the aisle. A small reflection of the overhead bulb shimmers on the smooth plastic surface of the tray, marking the precise edge where the light meets the merchandise.
