Fish Valve Board in Montevideo Store Daylight

Bright midmorning light floods the pale walls of a Rambla storefront, bouncing across a metal drip-acclimation valve board mounted in the center of the aisle. Clear plastic tubes descend from the manifold, each delivering a steady stream of water into dark containers resting on the shelf below. The utilitarian equipment occupies the frame, surrounded by the functional surfaces of a working pet store. Soft shadows gather in the corners where the skylight does not reach, while a faint glow from overhead lamps settles against the deep recesses of the shelving. A small droplet rests on the very tip of a tube at the edge, suspended just above the water surface.
