Cold moonlight spills across a low wooden table laden with intricate sugar-coated pastries and stacks of golden sweets. Four family members sit in a semi-circle, their faces softly illuminated by the pale, silver glow of the pre-dawn sky. Humid air hangs heavy in the stillness, visible as a faint mist clinging to the dark water beyond the railing. A weathered stone archway frames the gathering, casting deep shadows that separate the warm tones of the food from the cool blue-grey of the early morning. Raindrops glisten on the wet pavement, reflecting the faint light. The family rests quietly, hands folded near the colorful confections, awaiting the first hint of sunrise. one drop of moisture slides down the curved edge of a ceramic plate.
