A Dogo Argentino stands alert on the damp concrete front step, its white coat stark against the gray morning, ears pricked toward the wet street. Beside the dog, a weathered door mat lies partially rolled, heavy with dew. The scene is quiet, devoid of traffic, with the only movement coming from the dog’s slight shift in weight and the slow drift of fog across the lawn. The light is diffuse and cool, casting no hard shadows, only a uniform, muted tone over the residential street.
