Beneath the shelter, a stack of woven leather slippers sits near a brass tea set, while a customer in a white djellaba pauses to inspect a pair of sandals, holding a small ceramic cup of mint tea. The air is cool and damp, with puddles mirroring the ochre walls and the vendor’s colorful textiles. A hanging lantern sways slightly in the breeze, its metal surface gleaming with moisture.
