A late-night scene inside a cramped Späti convenience store, where the harsh fluorescent overheads clash with the cool blue spill of a beer fridge on the left. A tired clerk in a dark vest leans over the counter, his face illuminated by the glow of a small register screen, while a customer in a heavy winter coat waits patiently. On the counter, amidst a clutter of cigarette packs and a crumpled receipt, sits a small, unlit kitchen timer, its red dial stark against the dark laminate. Through the glass door, the wet asphalt reflects the neon sign of a nearby Döner shop, casting long, distorted shadows that stretch across the linoleum floor.
