A curved iron gate handle protrudes from a weathered stone pillar, its surface catching the cool blue glow of a distant streetlamp in Florence. The metal shows patches of oxidation and grime, against the warm amber reflection of city lights bouncing off its polished curves. Behind the handle, a dark wrought-iron gate stands closed, blending into the shadowy recess of the building's entrance. One water droplet rests on the bottom edge of the handle, refracting the blurred neon sign from the street below.
