Sodium-vapor light casts a warm amber glow over a symmetrical Havana courtyard where Cuban Rumba dancers perform. The space features a shrine lined with paper lanterns that flicker against the damp evening air. Light rain creates a sheen on the terracotta floor, reflecting the soft lantern light and the movement of bare feet. Dancers in vibrant cotton shirts and flowing skirts move with kinetic energy, their muscles tensed in mid-motion. The cool season air hangs heavy, visible as a slight mist around the figures.
