Condensation at Dawn Light

Mist rests on the corrugated metal siding of a converted warehouse in the Pearl District, diffusing the pale dawn light into a soft, gray wash. A rusted iron fire escape zigzags down the facade, its hinges stained with orange oxidation where damp air has settled overnight. Below, a wet asphalt street reflects the dull glow of a distant streetlamp, slick with recent rain. Condensation beads heavily on the lower pane of a large industrial window, blurring the silhouette of a wooden hanger hanging motionless inside a dimly lit studio.
