Cluttered Balcony in Prague

A narrow Prague balcony overlooks the street, cluttered with the daily life of a resident who tends to both plants and repairs. A rusted workbench vise clamps a broken ceramic mug, while a plastic dish drainer holds drying dishes beside a chipped mixing bowl. A fogged window glass reflects the flat noon light, obscuring the interior but revealing the silhouette of an armchair. A garden cloche protects small seedlings from the chill, and a watering jug sits nearby. The sun stripe across the floor tiles is faint, lost in the overcast glare. A Snowshoe cat watches from the railing, its white paws gripping the iron bars.
