Inside, a faded floral curtain lifts slightly in the draft, revealing a cluttered kitchen counter lit by flat, diffused daylight. A pair of knitted pot holders hangs from a hook, their wool texture against the smooth, glazed ceramic tiles below, which bear faint white streaks from recent cleaning. On the sill, a charcoal sketchbook lies open next to a silver bottle opener, abandoned mid-task.
