A length of damp white plastic clothesline stretches taut between two rusted iron brackets mounted on a weathered red brick wall in Liverpool. The morning light catches the heavy water droplets clinging to the synthetic fibers, creating small prismatic highlights against the rough masonry. Below the line, a narrow strip of window sill holds a faded blue chair cushion that has been left out to dry after a night of rain. The fabric shows signs of wear with frayed edges and a slightly faded floral pattern that blends into the grey sky reflected in the glass.
