Chrome Perm Rod Tin on Linz Barber Station

Soft overcast light from a nautical dawn fills the space, settling on a chrome refill tin placed on a dark wooden barber station beneath mirror bulbs. Inside the open lid, handled paper and folded terry cloth rest beside a stack of plastic perm rods, all exposed to plain illumination without cosmetic gloss. Warm interior shadows pool in the corners of the workspace, against the cool gray of the metal tin. The mirror bulbs above reflect the muted late spring air, their glass casings catching the soft glow. A faint scratch on the chrome edge catches the light, marking the tool's frequent use.
