Stark fluorescent tubes cast a flat, white glow across a metal return authorization shelf inside a chilled distribution bay in Villahermosa. Paper forms stack unevenly beside trailing strips of clear plastic film that hang from the edge of cardboard boxes. Soft reflections stretch across the smooth concrete floor, mirroring the harsh overhead light and the condensation gathering on the cold metal bin edges. Layers of shelving recede into the dark background, creating a deep corridor of inventory. A strip of blue tape marks the corner of a sealed package resting on the lower shelf.
