A pair of hands adjusts a heavy wool scarf against the warm glow, the texture contrasting sharply with the rough, sun-baked stucco wall behind it. Below, a stack of colorful majolica plates sits on a narrow ledge, their glossy glaze reflecting the deep orange sky and the distant silhouette of Sugarloaf Mountain. A sudden gust lifts the edge of the scarf, sending a single loose fiber drifting past the bright ceramic rim.
