Low light falls through the high arched windows of a Victorian warehouse conversion in the Baltic Triangle, illuminating a cluttered workbench where a ceramicist has just finished glazing. A blue and white porcelain plate sits cooling on a wooden rack, its wet glaze reflecting the pale dawn sky visible through the glass. Beside it, a kitchen timer ticks down, its red dial stark against the muted grey of the concrete floor. In the background, mops lean against a brick pillar, their bristles still damp, while a drawer knob glints from a nearby cabinet.
