A weathered wooden ladder leans against the rough brick facade of a Dublin pub, its rungs reflecting the amber glow of streetlights. Above the entrance, a pair of red ceramic saucers hang from a wire, catching the mixed city light in a subtle, dusty shimmer. The dark window beside them reveals faint reflections of passing headlights on the wet pavement outside. One drop of rain rests on the lower edge of the nearest saucer, distorting the neon sign beyond it.
