Outside, the golden hour light casts long, sharp shadows across the tiled pavement, highlighting the texture of the aged brickwork. A tabby cat stretches lazily on the threshold, its fur catching the warm amber glow. To the right, a simple clothesline strung between the building and a neighboring wall holds a few damp shirts, their fabric heavy with water.
