Indigo twilight falls through the high windows of a fish bagging counter zone in Bab El Bhar, casting soft, cool shadows along the tiled walls. A stainless steel rinse rail stands centered, its curved bar holding a bright orange canine life jacket. The fabric drapes in heavy folds, water droplets clinging to the synthetic weave before sliding down to a shallow basin below. The metal surface reflects the dim ambient light, against the warm hue of the jacket. Behind the rail, blurred shapes of kennels and grooming stations fade into the quiet darkness.
