Calico Dress Forms Wrapped in Indigo Blue Hour Light

Deep indigo ambient light fills the minimalist showroom in Gqeberha, casting long shadows across the polished floor. Several dress forms stand in a row, their wooden frames wrapped tightly in rough calico fabric and crisscrossed with strips of white tracing tape. A faint haze of hairspray hangs in the air, diffusing the backlight and softening the plastic surfaces. The low angle view emphasizes the towering height of the mannequins against the darkening sky visible through the high windows. Sharp edges of the tape catch the dim light against the soft, woven texture of the cloth. One strip of tape peels slightly at the base of the nearest form.
