A gondola of the Teleférico cable car hangs suspended against the deepening twilight sky above the dense, tiled rooftops of Quito. The last blue light of evening washes over the Andean cityscape, casting long, cool shadows across the colonial architecture below. Distant church spires and steep hills fade into the haze, while the metallic structure of the cable car stands out as a sharp, modern silhouette. The verticality of the city, with power lines crisscrossing the frame and the faint glow of streetlights beginning to flicker on in the valleys below.
