Brush Roll on Kollam Workbench in Cool Dawn Light

Cool blue light from a window falls across a wooden workbench in a Kollam craft room, illuminating a cylindrical brush roll wrapped in textured fabric. The roll rests beside small jars of pigment and bundles of dried fibers scattered on the surface. Shadows stretch softly along the plaster walls, separating the active workspace from the stillness of the early hour. The wood grain of the table runs diagonally, catching the faint glow that hints at dawn just breaking outside. One sharp shadow from the roll falls against the pale wall behind it, anchoring the arrangement in the dim room. The edge of the brush roll shows a frayed thread against the smooth wood.
