Soft, overcast light fills the room, casting a diffuse glow across a brass inclinometer mounted on a wooden staff. The instrument rests on the deep red velvet upholstery of a chair, its polished metal surface reflecting the muted sky. Fine dust particles float in the shafts of light that cut across the empty space around the object.
