Warm golden light spills across a concrete balcony in Changsha, illuminating a boy mid-action as he releases a folded paper airplane. Rain droplets hang suspended in the air, catching the sun in a brief monsoon shower. The foreground blurs into soft bokeh of wet green leaves, framing the sharp figure of the child in a grey t-shirt and dark shorts. Water beads on the metal railing and slick concrete floor reflect the orange sky.
