A chipped blue mug tree stands on a rough concrete windowsill in Accra, catching the bright afternoon sun. The metal arms show signs of rust and wear, against the vibrant green of a nearby potted plant. Dust motes dance in the shaft of light that illuminates the curved hooks holding empty ceramic mugs. One drop of condensation rests on the rim of the lowest hanging cup.
