Cool blue twilight floods a sitting room in Kaolack, where a wall sconce stands ready on a wooden writing desk. Brushed metal arms support a clear glass shade, catching the dimming natural light from the rainy season. Heavy fabric drapes hang against the wall beside the fixture, their deep weave absorbing shadows. Muted reflections stretch across the floor, mirroring the faint glow and the deep blue of the evening sky. The wooden grain of the desk remains visible under the soft illumination, while the metal bracket edge catches the last hint of ambient light. This sharp boundary defines the corner between the dark wall and the illuminated surface.
