Blue Hour Mirage City Kyushu Horizon
Cool blue twilight washes the sky beneath fast-moving cloud bands over Kyushu. On the horizon, a Fata Morgana mirage distorts the silhouette of a city, stacking inverted towers above upright structures in a shimmering, impossible architecture. The ground below shows dry earth and scattered leaves skittering across the surface in gusts of wind. The lighting is flat and cool, casting long, soft shadows that stretch across the foreground. The horizon line sits slightly below the center, dividing the turbulent sky from the still, mirage-filled distance. Darker cloud streaks race overhead, against the pale, ghostly city forms that hover just above the land.
