A black cat sits perched on a weathered wooden railing, its fur damp and sleek from the light rain falling in San Diego at dusk. Water droplets rest on the tips of nearby squash blossoms, which sway gently in the breeze against the fading evening light. The soft glow from a nearby window reflects off the wet planks, highlighting the texture of the wood and the delicate petals of the flowers. Raindrops fall steadily, creating a rhythmic pattern on the leaves and the cat's watchful, dark eyes.
