Bird of Paradise Flower at Indonesian Dawn

Orange and blue bracts of a bird of paradise flower rise sharply from a bed of textured green ferns. Low sunlight strikes the horizon haze, casting a warm glow that illuminates the waxy petals against the cool, grayish-blue sky. The flower occupies the right third of the view, while the left side reveals the damp, layered fronds of the forest floor. Soft shadows stretch across the mossy ground where the cool season air has settled. The horizon line separates the dark foliage from the brightening sky, creating a stark contrast between the vibrant bloom and the muted background. one drop of dew rests on the tip of a fern frond near the flower's base.
