Bergamasco Sheepdog Portrait in Dresden Garden

A Bergamasco Sheepdog stands centered in a Dresden garden, its heavy, matted cords of grey and black wool hanging in thick, rope-like clusters that obscure the body's shape. The dog's muzzle is dark and square, framed by the heavy cords that drape over its eyes and ears, which fold close to the skull. Late spring light falls through a canopy of fresh green leaves, casting dappled shadows across the textured coat and the worn wooden fence behind. The background remains uncluttered, showing only the soft blur of garden foliage and a hint of a stone path. The animal's expression is still and weathered, with dark eyes peering out from beneath the heavy fur. A few stray blades of grass rest on the lower cords near the paws, at the base of the subject in the earthy setting of the garden edge.
