A Bedlington Terrier stands alert on a quiet park path near a garden edge in Nanjing, its distinctive lamb-like coat texture catching the soft morning light. The dog's unique muzzle shape and ear set are clearly defined against an uncluttered background. Foreground gravel adds texture to the scene, while a low wall-side curb runs along the path's edge. The late 1970s atmosphere is subtly conveyed through the film grain and contrast typical of Kodak Tri-X 400. A half-open sash window in a nearby building hints at domestic life without dominating the composition. The 20mm lens shows a wide perspective, showing the dog's presence within its environment.
