Baseball Catcher Framing Pitch Sarajevo Twilight

Cool blue twilight washes a narrow village lane near Sarajevo where a baseball catcher crouches in full gear, mitt raised to frame a pitch on the outside corner. The late season air carries a haze that resembles sea spray, drifting low across the gravel and dirt surface of the makeshift field. Behind the player, weathered stone walls and traditional Balkan architecture line the lane, their dark silhouettes softened by the fading light. The catcher's mitt is a deep leather brown against the steel-blue sky, while the white of the baseball creates a sharp focal point. Shadows stretch long across the uneven ground, showing the competitive tension frozen in this moment. One scuff mark on the catcher's shin guard marks the boundary between the game and the ancient stone path beside it.
