Bamboo Steamer Basket in Taipei

One bamboo steamer basket rests on a wet, corrugated metal counter in a narrow Taipei alleyway during the light rain at dusk. The gray bamboo slats are darkened by moisture, reflecting the dim amber glow from a nearby neon sign above. Condensation beads form along the rim of the basket, catching the low ambient light against the dark background. A few stray steam wisps linger near the lid, hinting at the recent cooking activity inside.
