Honeyed evening light spills across a wet festival street in Kayseri, illuminating a line of Japanese Awa Odori dancers seen from behind. Straw hats with wide brims form a rhythmic pattern against the damp gray pavement, their woven textures catching the low sun. A light drizzle glistens on the dark fabric of their happi coats, creating small, scattered highlights. The procession stretches into the distance along the empty road, flanked by stone buildings that fade into the twilight. Vast solitude hangs over the scene as the few figures move in unison under the gray sky. Raindrops bead on the rim of the nearest hat, reflecting the fading orange glow before the night fully takes hold.
