Attendance Sheet on Art Classroom Podium in Arica

Rich amber light from the setting sun washes over a white attendance sheet clipped to a wooden podium in an Arica art classroom. The paper shows handwritten names in blue ink, standing out against the dry, dusty air of the room. Behind the podium, rows of empty easels and scattered art supplies fade into the distance, creating layers of depth under heavy overcast skies that dim the background. The floor is concrete, cool and smooth, reflecting the warm glow of the late afternoon. A small stack of sketchbooks rests on the podium's edge, their pages slightly curled from the dry season. The shadow of the clip falls sharply across the bottom line of the sheet. Sunlight catches the dust motes dancing near the window frame.
