Ribbed concrete walls define a lobby in Yola where an aquarium acclimation bucket station sits under bright artificial pet-shop lighting. Low sun streams through high openings, tracing long shadows across the textured floor and casting dramatic light on the concrete surfaces. Cool season air is suggested by the sharp clarity of the light and the starkness of the architectural lines. Overhead, dramatic clouds obscure parts of the sky, filtering the natural light that competes with the shop lamps.
