Through the window of a third-floor apartment in the 11th arrondissement, a dimly lit room reveals a lived-in corner where a spider plant spills over a terracotta flowerpot resting on a wooden shelf. The shelf edge shows significant nicks and scratches, evidence of years of use in a classic Parisian flat. Outside, the street below is empty and wet, reflecting the faint amber glow of distant streetlamps against the dark cobblestones. Inside, the only light source casts long, soft shadows across the peeling wallpaper, highlighting the texture of the aged wood and the glossy leaves of the houseplant.
