Amber Sunset Ceramic Bowls Fish Market Bhaktapur

Rich amber light from a late autumn sunset spills across a wet ceramic slab of stacked bowls resting beside a fish counter in Bhaktapur. Rain has left the surface slick, reflecting the overcast sky above while the ceramic glaze holds a deep, earthy tone. Water droplets rest on the curved rims and settle in the shallow depressions of the bowls. The foreground dissolves into a soft blur of green leaves and rain-slicked pavement, drawing attention to the sharp, tactile textures of the clay. Behind the bowls, the dark, damp wood of the market stall frames the scene, while distant stone walls of the ancient city fade into the twilight haze. one drop of water hangs precariously on the edge of the topmost bowl.
