Alexandria Egypt Pre-Dawn Ferry Ramp Low Tide Coastal Infrastructure

The concrete ramp of a small coastal ferry terminal in Alexandria, Egypt, extends into the receding Mediterranean waters during the still hours before dawn. The low tide exposes the heavy, weathered wooden and steel piling system that supports the structure, standing stark against the darkening sky. A few scattered fishing nets lie damp on the wet concrete, while the distant skyline of the city remains a silhouette under the deep blue twilight. The quiet, industrial reality of the harbor infrastructure, devoid of crowds, with the calm sea reflecting the faint ambient light from nearby streetlamps.
