Aji de Gallina with Rice on Marble Table

Pale yellow chicken stew in creamy sauce pools over a mound of white rice on a white ceramic plate. The dish rests on a cool, grey-veined marble surface typical of a Castellón cafe. North window light strikes from the left, casting soft shadows across the textured sauce and highlighting the smooth rim of the plate. Late spring brightness falls through, illuminating dust-free surfaces and leaving the background uncluttered. The creamy consistency of the stew shows small flecks of shredded chicken and a dusting of black pepper. A small green garnish sits at the edge of the rice, against the warm tones of the sauce. The plate occupies the center of the frame, surrounded by the expansive, polished stone table.
