The dog's wiry, salt-and-pepper coat forms a dense texture against the weathered gray planks beneath its paws. Its distinctive shaggy muzzle and dark, alert eyes face the camera while moonlight falls through low-hanging clouds to cast soft, cool highlights on the fur. The surrounding yard features neatly clipped green grass that fades into deep shadow at the edges of the frame. One rusted nail head on the porch railing catches a faint glint of silver light.
