A Pointer stands in profile on a weathered wooden porch in Ensenada, framed tightly at the edge of the view. The dog's coat displays distinct black and white ticking against the dim steel-blue light of early autumn twilight. Fine fog softens the background railings while highlighting the texture of the muzzle and the set of the long ears. Shaded boards beneath the paws show signs of wear and salt, at the base of the animal in a lived-in coastal environment. The soft ambient glow catches the fine hairs along the neck without casting harsh shadows. A brass latch on the nearby railing reflects a faint cool gleam.
