Adjusting Apron in Vienna

Sunlight cuts through the heavy winter air, illuminating a cluttered corner of a traditional Viennese coffee house where a waitress in a dark uniform pauses to adjust her apron. The scene is busy and textured, with stacks of porcelain cups, a metal utensil crock holding spoons, and scattered napkins on the worn wooden table. Outside the large window, the gray pavement reflects the midday light, while inside, the warm glow of brass fixtures contrasts with the cold chill visible on the glass. The composition shows the lived-in rhythm of service, with the apron’s fabric wrinkled from movement and the utensils gleaming under the artificial lights.
