Wrasses Cleaning Coral Bommie in Evening Light

Honeyed evening firelight warms the submerged surfaces of a coral bommie, illuminating the rough, porous texture of the rock against deep blue water. Several wrasses move with deliberate slowness across the bumpy coral skin, their scales reflecting the amber glow that filters down from the surface. The water remains exceptionally clear, revealing every crevice and shadow without distortion. Gentle ripples on the water's surface create a shifting pattern of light that dances across the fish and the stone. A small cluster of coral polyps stands upright near the edge of the bommie, catching the warm light. at the edge is a wrasse hovering just inches from the rock, its fins spread wide against the luminous blue background.
