Amber sodium-vapor light washes the concrete floor of the Nampo-dong community center hall, illuminating low-hanging gray clouds suspended near the ceiling. Three workers in heavy early winter jackets stand beside a wide canal running through the interior space, filling thick black plastic bags with debris. Felt boots rest on the damp ground while stacked white sacks line the walkway against the wall. A metal railing runs along the canal edge, guiding the gaze toward the workers' hands as they secure the bag ties. Wet pavement reflects the orange glow, stretching toward the exit where the light fades into shadow.
